If you are planning to go BARCELONA, places you must visit is...umm, (i have short term memory)..but here's a tip..take the touristic bus provided by the Tourism of Barcelona, it brings you to all the famous places aka the must visits..plus its a hop on hop off thingy, so its really cost savvy and also convenient.
You should also go for the walks provided called " Barcelona Walks" as it will tell you about the history of the buildings unless you go for the gourmet walk then its bout food, there are about 4 walks so u can choose, but if your already there, its better to go for all 4..

Las Ramblas Street ( well this is the place where you can see characters from movies, and when you put in money into the pot infront of them, they start moving~really neat..and also for souvinears)

La Boqueria Market

the beach or the shopping stalls =D, (btw, the syrup and whip cream pancake in my hand was superb( don't remind me bout the fats~ I KNOW!)
